P4 2 Jan 23

 Last day of free day before i start work on 3 Jan.

I started first day of the year (1/1/2023) going for a morning walk with Aw. He has a normal routine of starting his new year by going for a morning walk at Lorong Halus. This year, with mum, i delayed him in terms of timing. 

He was patient and tried to accommodate the needs of mum. Mum was not very settled in walking and after about 10 minutes, she wanted to go home. This was what i feared, many of my friends were "turned away" because of the unpredictability of mum. 

I put mum first and told Aw to send us back. 

1/1/2023 : Paid respect to dad. Prayed for family unity. Interesting enough, mum burped when ge and da shao boarded the car. It reminded me of the masseuse who burped on my behalf because i had alot of wind in my stomach. What did mum's burping signify? 

Thought of joining ge for lunch after paying respect to dad. Mum wanted to come along. In the end, we did not eat together because mum cannot eat at the coffeeshop next to roadside. I had to bring mum and yee yee back. I ended going marketing with mum and yee yee. 

Did the last part of spring cleaning in the house. These were extra work, so good to have yee yee working alongside with me. 

My infection on the exterior ear seemed to affect me alot, and it was spreading. Back was very pain. Tired after the long days of spring cleaning. 

Reminded myself that in order for me to take care of mum, i must take care of myself first. 

LPA done at RCMC medical clinic, it was daylight robbery. $150 per person. 

Did all my spring cleaning which i intended. Put the cement putty, the tile fillers, arrange the beds, so what's next? :)
